21 Savage just got out of jail following his ICE arrest and now he’s turned himself in for a felony theft warrant.
It’s being reported that the I Am > I Was rapper surrendered to authorities in Georgia this morning over a nationwide warrant for his arrest. The issue stems from a club promoter who Savage allegedly stole $17,000 from when he was supposed to perform at their venue in 2016. They claim he accepted a $9500 advance and did in fact show up at their club to receive the other $7500, but didn’t go out on stage. 21 Savage has been charged with felony theft by deception and will appear in court at a later time. He was released on his own accord.
21’s lawyer Abbi Taylor says:
“Mr. Joseph has committed no criminal offense. We look forward to an amicable resolution between the parties in the near future with no criminal implications whatsoever.”
The Slaughter Gang artist is already facing deportation after living illegally in the United States for years. He had tried to renew his Visa, but things were never pushed through, which he spoke about earlier today on Good Morning America.
